Agave Sriracha Brussels Sprouts with Macadamia Nuts

Ingredients:

1lb Brussels Sprouts, halved (roughly 4c)

1/2c Macadamia Nuts, chopped

3T Olive Oil

2T Light Agave Nectar

1T Sriracha

1/2t Salt

1/2t Garlic Powder

1/4t White Pepper


Directions:

1. In small bowl, mix together agave, sriracha, salt, garlic powder, and pepper

2. In large skillet, heat oil over medium high heat

3. When oil is hot, add brussels sprouts and cook 3-5 minutes, until the sprouts start turning golden brown in spots

4. Add mac nuts, cook an additional 1-2 minutes

5. Turn heat to medium, add in agave sriracha and cook another 1-2 minutes. The sauce should well coat the brussels

6. Serve warm and enjoy!


Makes approximately 3-4 servings


Notes:

This recipe is written vegan, but you can substitute honey for agave nectar
