Ingredients:
Crumble:
3/4c Sugar
1/2c Crisco All-Vegetable Shortening
1c AP Flour
1 1/2 -2t Ground Cinnamon
Cake:
1c Flour
2t Baking Powder
1c Milk
1 Egg, beaten
1/2t Salt
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Mix crumble ingredients with a fork, until well incorporated. Reserve 3/4c for topping
3. Add flour and baking powder to remaining crumble mixture. Mix lightly with fork
4. Make a well, add in salt, egg, and milk. Stir gently (batter will be lumpy)
5. Pour batter into greased and floured 8x8 pan
6. Sprinkle reserved crumble over the batter
7. Bake 30-35 minutes
